Brief Personal History
Our family moved to the San Diego area
five years ago. I grew up in the Midwest, and I must say, this is PARADISE! I have four amazing children, and am proud to say that I am a grandmother! As a family, we enjoy together the simple things that life can bring. Whether it is a family dinner, playing board games, watching a video, going to the beach, or a family camping trip, we seem to always have fun! My kids brings me great joy and I must admit, they are my greatest ACCOMPLISHMENT!
In my spare time, I enjoy reading, writing, arts & crafts and attending design workshops.

Brief Employment History & Education
I worked in the finance and insurance industry for six years and decided that sitting in an office and punching numbers was not "my cup of tea". I then decided to be a stay at home mom. Over the years, I have spent most of my time volunteering with school committees, organizing benefits and fundraisers. I also taught aerobics and ran a small craft business. Over the years, our family has relocated many times across the country. Through the quick sales of our personal homes and then helping others "stage" and decorate theirs, I decided that this was something I wanted to do full time. With the encouragement of others, I began to pursue my new career. Having a creative flair for color and design, I began taking design classes, and realized this is exactly what I should be doing.

Centsible Decorating
I began Centsible Decorating because I wanted to help others and offer a more creative approach to design. I know that many people simply can't afford the "traditional designers approach" to decorating. So I wanted to offer an Alternative Design Service that would enable anyone (not just the wealthy) to have a home with the designers look. My philosophy is "Decorating doesn't have to be expensive!" With creativity and smart buying ANYTHING ordinary can look extraordinary!
